Metadata extracted from a loaded Lua tool script.

Created at server startup by load_tool_definitions. Contains everything needed to register the tool with the HTTP server and execute it when called.

Fields

name: String

Tool identifier (matches the config key in [tools.script.<name>]).

description: String

One-line description for agent discovery.

parameters_schema: Value

OpenAI function-calling JSON Schema for the tool’s parameters.

script_path: PathBuf

Path to the .lua script file.

script_source: String

Raw Lua source code (cached to avoid re-reading on every call).

config: Table

Tool-specific config keys from ctx.toml (passed as context.config).

timeout: u64

Maximum execution time in seconds.
